1Sale, publisher and scope
These terms apply to a consumer's purchase of Noctave Plus in the Noctave app installed from Google Play. Noctave Plus is not sold on the website. They complete Noctave's terms of use; where they differ, these terms of sale prevail for the purchase.
The purchase goes through Google Play's billing system. For a purchase made from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Google Commerce Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) concludes and collects it as the merchant of record, on the publisher's behalf; elsewhere, Google collects the payment on the publisher's behalf. The Google Play Terms of Service apply to the payment, the receipt, taxes and the refunds made by Google.
The publisher supplies Noctave Plus, sets its price and is liable for its conformity (section 8):

2Noctave Plus
Noctave Plus is a right of access to features of the Noctave app. Without it, Noctave stays free: chapters 1 to 3 of the journey and the first level of chapter 4, with their pieces in Learning, a taste of each following chapter (its first level), every aid, the score, keyboards, listening to every piece, 3 imports and the first steps of note reading.
Noctave Plus adds:
- all 8 chapters of the journey (116 levels to date) and every piece of the catalog in Learning (108 to date);
- unlimited imports of MIDI and MusicXML files;
- the correction editor;
- the full note reading path, with statistics and targeted series;
- scanning printed scores, within the limits shown in the app (clean printed scores, not handwritten; pages per upload).
What you need: the Noctave app installed from Google Play on a compatible Android device, a Google account to pay, and an Internet connection to buy, to scan and to find Noctave Plus on another device. A Noctave account is optional: it opens Noctave Plus on all your devices (section 6). Versions for other systems will come later. Everything else works offline.
Noctave evolves: the catalog and the features may be improved. The features listed here stay included in Noctave Plus as long as the service exists (see section 9).
3Price
Noctave Plus costs €24.99 including all taxes in France, paid once. The price that applies is the one Google Play shows in the purchase window, in the currency of your Google account and including taxes. VAT is determined, collected and paid by Google for purchases made in the European Union; Google's receipt details it.
Noctave Plus may be offered at a reduced price for a limited time: the app then shows the struck-through reference price, which is the lowest price applied during the 30 days before the reduction (French Consumer Code, article L112-1-1), and the end date of the reduction.
Noctave charges no other fee. Your bank or carrier may charge its own fees, for instance for a payment in another currency.
4Order
- In the app, tap “Get Noctave Plus” (Noctave Plus screen, or an offer along the way). The price including tax is shown on it.
- Google Play's purchase window opens: check the product, the price including tax and the payment method of your Google account.
- Confirm the purchase (Google may ask you to confirm who you are): this button places the order with an obligation to pay.
- Once the payment is accepted, Noctave Plus opens in the app, and Google sends you its receipt by email, to the address of your Google account, with the order number (
GPA.…).
The sale is concluded when Google accepts the payment. Your order appears in the order history of your Google Play account.
Minors: a minor only buys Noctave Plus with the consent of a parent or guardian. Google Play's parental controls can require an approval for every purchase.
5Payment
You pay with the payment methods of your Google account (card, Google Play balance, gift card, carrier billing or another method offered by Google Play). Your payment details stay with Google: Noctave never sees or keeps them.
A declined or abandoned payment doesn't open Noctave Plus, and nothing is charged. Some payment methods are confirmed later (a “pending” payment): the app says so, and Noctave Plus opens as soon as Google confirms the payment; a pending payment that is never made is cancelled by Google, at no cost.
6Access to Noctave Plus
Noctave Plus is supplied immediately after the payment is confirmed:
- on the device where you bought it, even without a Noctave account, where it stays open offline;
- on your Noctave account, if you are signed in when you buy or as soon as you sign in afterwards on that device: it then opens on every device where you sign in with that account;
- on another Android device that uses the same Google account, with “Restore my purchases” (Noctave Plus screen).
Noctave confirms the delivery of the purchase to Google; if it couldn't be confirmed within three days (for instance without any connection), Google cancels and refunds the purchase automatically. If Noctave Plus doesn't open within the hour after the payment, write to admin@418devops.fr with the order number.
Noctave Plus is personal: it is reserved for the buyer, for private use, and can't be resold or transferred. One purchase opens one Noctave account: the first one it is attached to.
7Right of withdrawal
For a distance purchase, a consumer normally has 14 days to withdraw (French Consumer Code, article L221-18). This right can't be exercised for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose supply has begun with your prior express consent and your express waiver of this right (article L221-28, 13°).
Noctave Plus opens as soon as you pay. Under Google Play's terms, when you buy digital content, you agree that it is made available to you immediately and you acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
You of course keep the warranties of section 8, the possibility to ask Google for a refund within 48 hours, and you can write to us if anything goes wrong (section 10).
8Legal warranties
The publisher supplies Noctave Plus in conformity with its description and is liable for any lack of conformity that appears during the whole period of supply, under articles L224-25-1 and following of the French Consumer Code (supply of digital content and services).
In case of a lack of conformity, you are entitled to have it brought into conformity, free of charge, within a reasonable time. If that is impossible, disproportionate, refused or not done in time, or if the defect is serious, you can get a price reduction or the termination of the purchase with a refund, made by the publisher on Google Play. Write to admin@418devops.fr describing the problem.
Updates needed to keep conformity are supplied in the app, through Google Play. Scanning depends on the quality of the pages: an imperfect result on a damaged, handwritten or badly photographed score is not a lack of conformity, since these limits are stated.
9Duration
Noctave Plus has no end date: the purchase stays with your Google account, and with your Noctave account if it is attached to it, as long as the Noctave service exists. Should the publisher ever stop the service for good, you would be told at least six months in advance, by email when your Noctave account has one and in the app; the app would keep working on your devices for everything that doesn't depend on the server.
Deleting your Noctave account: a purchase made on Google Play stays with your Google account; it attaches to the next Noctave account signed in on the device, and “Restore my purchases” finds it. A Noctave Plus obtained any other way (given by the publisher, or bought on the website before 3 October 2026) goes away with the account, without a refund.
10Refunds
- Within 48 hours of the purchase, you can ask Google for a refund directly, from Google Play; Google decides according to its refund policies.
- After that, write to admin@418devops.fr with your order number: the publisher can refund the purchase on Google Play, notably for a defect (section 8) or a double purchase.
A refund, a cancellation by Google or a payment dispute with your bank removes Noctave Plus from the device and from the Noctave account.
11Complaints and mediation
For any question or complaint about Noctave Plus, first write to admin@418devops.fr: you get an answer within 15 days. For a question about the payment itself (charge, payment method, receipt), Google Play's help can also answer.
If your written complaint is not resolved, you can turn, free of charge, to a consumer mediator (French Consumer Code, articles L611-1 and following), within one year of your complaint:
The consumer mediator will be named here before the sale opens.
12Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another country of the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country. In case of a dispute, and failing an amicable agreement or mediation, you can bring it before the court of your home or of the place where you received Noctave Plus.
These terms may change; the version that applies to your purchase is the one in force on its date (shown at the top of this page). Earlier versions are sent on request to admin@418devops.fr.
